The BPU4000 Baseband Processor Unit connects to a CA4000 Camera System Adaptor, mounted on a PMW-F55 Solid-state Memory Camcorder (1) or an F65 Digital Motion Picture Camera (2), or to an HDC4300 Color Camera (3) or HDC-P43 Multi Purpose Camera (4) via an optical fiber cable. It processes video signals from the camera and provides an interface with external devices.

1) Requires PMW-F55 software version 2.10 or later. 2) Requires the SKC-4065 F65 Adaptor. 3) Requires BPU4000 software version 3.00 or later. 4)   Requires BPU4000 software version 3.30 or later. Also, connection with an HDC-P43 requires an HKCU-SM100 CCU Extension Adaptor and single-mode fiber cable.
